MISSION
To empower women, children, and all those in my community physically and mentally by way of physical fitness, as we are stronger than we know or believe. #workhardwantmore
I take your fitness goals seriously. I also understand that losing weight and gaining muscle can be challenging. My goal is to help you overcome hurdles and reach your goals. Believe me, I totally understand how hard the journey can be.
Born and raised in the Mattapan section of Boston I didn’t grow up fit. I began my fitness journey on December 14, 2015, finding not only my fit, but my passion and my purpose. I went from a client attending classes two days a week to one who attended four days a week. This dedication allowed me to go from client to coach in less than six months, developing a pure passion for teaching and helping others to reach their fitness goals.
I remember when I was younger seeing a little muscle here or there. I would flex in the mirror wondering what it would be like to body-build, but thinking I’d look too “manly” so I quickly dismissed that thought. As I progressed in my training I started to see the definition form in my muscles again, and since another member was working towards her goal of competing in a Fitness Competition, I decided it was time to see if this was something I could do. I now see that I can have muscle and still look and be very feminine.
In less than 20 months of starting my fitness journey, I was able to compete in my 1st Fitness Competition, September 9, 2017. While I did not win by coming in first, I did win by walking on that stage, by going for it and conquering it. I won by entering three categories and by leaving with a medal in each. But my biggest win was inspiring others to also take the step towards competing. I coached my first two competitors in their first Fitness Competition in November 2017, where one of them placed 1st in her category. Since then, I have had the opportunity to assist others, as well as a few men. In 2021, I earned the right to compete in the INBF/WNBF World Championship where I placed 5th.
